Assistant Accountant Taunton Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated professional to join a Finance team based in Taunton. In the role, you'll work closely with the Finance Manager to support management accounts, maintain records and provide financial insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement. This is a fully office based role in Taunton. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts. Post journals, accruals and prepayments. Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset registers. Monitor budgets and investigate variances. Produce financial reports and analysis. Support payroll and year-end processes. What Experience is Required Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA is preferable. Management accounts experience. Strong bookkeeping knowledge. Good understanding of accounting principles. Strong Excel skills. Xero or similar software experience.
