CV Screen is recruiting for a Junior Fashion Designer to join a fast-growing fashion supplier based in Salford, Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer to work within a trend-led, fast-paced womenswear environment, supporting collections for well-known UK high street retailers. The role offers hands-on exposure across the full design lifecycle, from trend research through to sampling and customer presentations. You will be working closely with an experienced design team in a commercial setting where creativity, speed, and attention to detail are key. The salary is up to £30,000, depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Research current and emerging fashion trends, colours, fabrics, and silhouettes
- Create mood boards and CAD ranges aligned to seasonal themes
- Support the development of samples, fits, and prototype garments
- Liaise with sales, buying, and production teams to meet commercial requirements
- Assist with showroom preparation and customer meetings
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience or placement within a fashion supplier or fast-fashion brand
- Strong CAD skills with an eye for colour, fabric, and trend
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, team-focused approach
