Practice Accountant – Part Time – 3 days per week Leeds Up to £35,000 FTE  We are looking for a Practice Accoutant/Bookkeeper to join an accountancy practice where you will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of clients from bookkeeping, VAT, Payroll and accounts preparation.   The portfolio comprises of owner managed businesses covering a wide range of sectors.    Key responsibilities include:   Bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and Payroll with use of various accounting software packages and excel. Ensuring these assignments are delivered for review in a timely manner.   Preparation of statutory financial statements to draft stage for manager review.   Ensuring all clients statutory filing requirements are achieved on a timely basis.   To respond to client queries in a timely manner.  Requirements  ACA/ACCA/AAT part-qualified or QBE  3+ years previous experience in an accountancy practice   Working knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, Payroll, statutory accounts and management accounts   Good knowledge of SAGE and main accounting systems in the marketplace (e.g Xero, etc)   Good attention to detail and time management skills.   Demonstrate good listening and questioning skills in dealing with clients   Ability to work to deadlines  Location: Office based near Leeds How to Apply: Ready to take on a new challenge in your career?
