Practice Accountant – Leicester – Salary up to £55,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits A fantastic opportunity for an innovative and commercially focused Practice Accountant to join a forward-thinking accountancy and advisory firm based in Leicester. The business supports a wide range of SME clients across multiple sectors, with a focus on efficiency, technology, and long-term relationships. Duties & Responsibilities You\’ll take the lead in developing and managing outsourced finance services, including: Delivering high-quality management accounts and performance insights for SME clients Leading a team responsible for bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and forecasting services Enhancing workflows through digital tools, cloud platforms, and AI solutions Acting as the main client contact, ensuring service excellence and commercial value Driving process improvements and supporting client onboarding and digital adoption What Experience is Required Strong experience in management accounting and client portfolio management Proven leadership skills, ideally within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment Proficiency with Xero and familiarity with tools such as Dext, Fathom, or similar Background in process improvement or digital transformation projects Salary & Benefits £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience) 34 days\’ holiday including bank holidays (plus option to purchase more) Private health insurance, Healthshield, and death in service benefit Free on-site parking and a modern open-plan office Flexible working options (4 or 5 days per week) Location Based in Leicester , with easy commutes from: Loughborough, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Lutterworth, and Coalville.
