CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a successful, well-established logistics and distribution business based near Newmarket. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly and supportive team within a growing organisation that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering specialist transport and pallet distribution services across the UK. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage weekly payroll, ensuring accurate processing of timesheets, statutory payments and pension contributions.
- Submit PAYE information, produce payroll reports and resolve employee payroll queries.
- Process purchase ledger invoices, supplier payments, reconciliations and petty cash.
- Raise sales invoices, post customer receipts and support credit control activities.
- Assist with month-end finance processes and maintain accurate financial records.
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in payroll together with sales and purchase ledger duties.
- Good knowledge of HMRC regulations, pensions and statutory payments.
- Experience using Sage Payroll, Sage 50 or similar accounting software.

Location
