Salary to £50,000 + Benefits
CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting an Infrastructure Network Engineer on behalf of a long-established, Bedford-based IT support business serving schools, charities and SMEs. This senior, 3rd line role is largely remote, working 8:30am to 5:00pm with client site visits across Bedfordshire, and pays up to £50,000. - Design, deploy and configure HP/Aruba switching and Wi-Fi across customer sites, including VLANs, routing and Aruba Central
- Set up and maintain WatchGuard and DrayTek firewalls, VPNs and multi-WAN failover
- Specify, build and commission Dell, HPE and Fujitsu servers, from RAID setup through to production
- Manage Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Azure environments, including migrations
- Look after backup, disaster recovery and VoIP telephony, and resolve complex faults as they arise
What Experience is Required
- Proven 3rd line experience personally installing and configuring networks, firewalls and servers, not just supporting systems others have built
- Strong Windows Server, Hyper-V, Azure and Microsoft 365 administration skills
- Hands-on backup and restore experience; 3CX/VoIP knowledge is a significant advantage
