The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Charge Accountant to join a well-established and growing property management business based in Nottingham. This is a full-time, office-based position offering a salary of £35,000 plus an excellent benefits package. Working for a privately owned organisation with many years of industry experience, you'll become part of a friendly and professional finance team supporting a national property portfolio. This is an ideal role for an organised finance professional looking to develop their career within a successful and expanding business. Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare service charge budgets and assist with financial reporting across multiple property developments. Complete bank reconciliations, payments, transfers and other daily financial transactions. Support service charge accounting, including reconciliations and responding to finance-related queries. Assist with the financial set-up of new developments and property handovers. Work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate financial records and excellent client service. What Experience is Required
Previous experience in an Assistant/Service Charge Accountant or similar finance role, ideally supported by an AAT or equivalent financial qualification. Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload. Experience within the property sector, particularly service charge accounting, would be a significant advantage. Salary & Benefits
