CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join a well-established business based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Offering a salary of £35,000 plus excellent benefits, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy finance function within a growing organisation that has built a strong reputation over many years. The role is hybrid, with the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger function, ensuring invoices, supplier payments and reconciliations are completed accurately.
- Manage and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
- Assist with month-end reporting, including reconciliations, journals and financial analysis.
- Monitor supplier accounts, resolve queries and maintain strong financial controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency.
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Manager, Finance Team Leader or similar supervisory finance role.
- Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes, reconciliations and month-end accounting.
- AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) with excellent Excel and accounting systems experience.
