CV Screen is recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established charitable organisation based in Newcastle. This 12-month fixed-term position offers a salary of circa £38,000 plus an excellent benefits package. Working predominantly from the office, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, payroll processes and operational finance activities. The organisation has been supporting local communities for many years, employs a sizeable workforce across the region and is recognised for its supportive culture and commitment to staff development. Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end accounting processes and reconciliations
- Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control activities
- Assist with payroll processing and staff payroll queries
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and improve processes
What Experience is Required
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of management accounts, reconciliations and month-end reporting
- Experience using Xero, Sage Payroll and advanced Excel skills would be advantageous
