We are recruiting for a Legal Administrator on behalf of a well-established solicitors practice just outside Darlington. Working closely with a Partner and an experienced Legal Secretary, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive legal team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll provide secretarial and administrative support across Conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters, helping to ensure the smooth running of a busy legal practice.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide secretarial support to a Partner and legal team.
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence.
- Manage client communications and appointments.
- Maintain accurate records and case files.
- Support Conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters.
- Assist with general office and administrative duties.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Previous legal secretarial experience preferred.
- Strong typing and IT skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, friendly and proactive approach.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary commensurate with experience. 20 days holiday plus additional office closure days. Paid office closure between Christmas and New Year. Supportive and established legal practice.
