CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Assistant for an award-winning, independent communications agency working with companies. The role is based in Bournemouth on a hybrid basis, with a salary of £28,000 - £34,000. Focused mainly on processing invoices, it's a fantastic next step for someone at AAT Level 1 or 2, and the business will offer study support to help you progress in your career. Part-time hours across five shorter days may also be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities
Processing supplier, freelancer and expense invoices accurately and on time
Raising client invoices in Xero, tracking purchase orders and submitting invoices through procurement portals such as SAP Ariba
Managing company card receipts
Supporting payroll and new starter set-up
Keeping finance trackers up to date to support reporting
What Experience is Required
AAT Level 1 or 2, with some previous experience in an admin, accounts or finance role (ideal as a second job)
Strong admin, Excel and organisational skills, with Xero experience a bonus
A clear communicator with great attention to detail
Please note: this is a hands-on, processing-focused role, so it won't suit candidates who are more highly qualified (e.g. AAT Level 4, ACCA or CIMA) or looking for a more senior finance position.
Salary & Benefits
£28,000 - £34,000 per annum (pro rata if part-time). Benefits include:

Location
Bournemouth, with hybrid working. Candidates living in or very close to Christchurch would be ideal, and the role is also an easy commute from Poole, Ringwood, Wimborne, Ferndown and New Milton.
