CV Screen is recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a well-established UK manufacturer and service provider within the safety and compliance sector. Based in Chesterfield, this office-based role offers a salary of £55,000 plus excellent benefits and runs through to December 2026. As the on-site finance lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strengthening controls and partnering with operational leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional seeking a long-term interim contract with real influence and visibility across the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end process, producing accurate management accounts with insightful variance analysis
  • Take full ownership of the balance sheet, reconciliations and financial controls
  • Oversee manufacturing finance activities including inventory, WIP and cost analysis
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cashflow reporting and working capital management
  • Act as key contact for auditors and ensure compliance with statutory and IFRS reporting

What Experience is Required

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with strong Financial Accountant or Finance Business Partner experience
  • Background in manufacturing or stock-focused environments
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite or similar)
