A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established specialist in residential groundworks and civil engineering, supporting major UK housebuilders. Based in Bicester, this permanent role offers a salary of circa £65,000 plus an excellent benefits package. Working on a range of groundworks projects, you'll play a key role in managing project costs, supporting successful delivery, and working closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts for groundworks projects.
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, identify cost-saving opportunities and support project teams.
- Prepare valuations, manage subcontractor payments and assist with final accounts.
- Produce commercial reports and monitor financial performance to minimise project risk.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring commercial compliance.
What Experience is Required?
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within groundworks, civil engineering or a similar construction environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and valuations.
- Full UK driving licence.
