We are recruiting for a Legal Administrator on behalf of a well-established solicitors practice just outside Darlington. Working closely with a Partner and an experienced Legal Secretary, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive legal team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll provide secretarial and administrative support across Conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters, helping to ensure the smooth running of a busy legal practice.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide secretarial support to a Partner and legal team.
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence.
  • Manage client communications and appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records and case files.
  • Support Conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters.
  • Assist with general office and administrative duties.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Previous legal secretarial experience preferred.
  • Strong typing and IT skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Professional, friendly and proactive approach.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary commensurate with experience. 20 days holiday plus additional office closure days. Paid office closure between Christmas and New Year. Supportive and established legal practice.
