The Role:
Due to expansion this is a new role created to assist the Accounts Manager. The accounts assistant supports the finance function with day to day accounting and administrative activities to ensure accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry, reconciliations, invoice processing, and general financial administration
- Enter financial transactions accurately into internal accounting systems, invoices, receipts, payments
- Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs
- Assist with issuing invoices and credit control, including following up on outstanding payments
- Handle reconciliations of supplier statements and customer accounts
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
- Filing, organise, and manage financial documentation for easy retrieval
- Liaise with colleagues, clients, and suppliers to resolve queries or gather financial information
Skills and Attributes required:
- Administration, Office background
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

Hours: 4 - 5 day Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm. An element of flexibility required and given. Ability to work flexible hours as required by the business. Times to be agreed.
