The Role:
- To carry out inspection, servicing, diagnostics, and repair of light vehicles and/or HGV trailers, ensuring all work meets safety standards and MOT requirements.
- Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Carry out servicing and maintenance on cars and vans.
- Inspect vehicles to MOT standard.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs on light commercial vehicles and cars.
- Work collaboratively within a team of technicians.
- Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Technician
- Service, maintain, and repair HGV trailers.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
- Carry out fault finding and mechanical repairs.
- Support electrical fault diagnosis where required.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
- Knowledge of light vehicles and/or HGV trailers.
- Experience with diagnostics and fault finding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
- Basic electrical fault‑finding knowledge (desirable).
- Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Problem‑solving mindset.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 4.30pm
