The Role:

  • Due to expansion to this newly created team, we are looking for a hard working individual, who takes pride in their work and supports customers.
  • Working in a business centre you will have responsibility for providing a consistently high standard of customer care to the internal and external clients, being an ambassador of the business.
  • Providing a full range of maintenance and caretaker services in a busy business centre environment with focus on the company's key objectives of providing high quality client service.
  • Working with the centre team to ensure that the building is maintained to standards.
  • Ensuring offices are appropriately furnished.
  • Maintaining building security.
  • Completing client requests in a timely fashion.
  • The Facilities Coordinator role is pivotal to the success of the business.
  • Completing day to day maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry work, electrical, plumbing, painting, heating and air conditioning, flooring, outdoor landscaping, gritting and snow removal, and general facility repairs.
  • Providing efficient and effective caretaking support to the Business Centre including ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring the operation runs smoothly and efficiently through involvement in services, standards, facilities, security, health & safety, housekeeping, meeting and conference rooms set up, and general client support.
  • The close working relationship with the Centre Manager and the team will be the key to the success of this role and the centre.
  • The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for opening up the site on a daily basis.
  • Checking for overnight problems and issues.
  • Reacting to emergency situations during the day.
  • Working with deadlines to ensure client needs are met.
  • Working as part of a small team.

Skills and Attributes required:

  • A skilled all round individual.
  • Practical, hands on, demonstrates the ability to utilise a multitude of hand tools.
  • A high standard of personal presentation and effective, articulate communication is essential.
  • Responsible for providing first-line customer care on a daily basis.
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Able to troubleshoot, plan and organise.
  • A very busy role and varied, a flexible approach and willingness to be proactive and involved.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • A team player who takes pride in their work and customer service support.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to problem solve and deal with people at all levels.

The Hours:

  • Flexibility required to support business needs.
