A fantastic Director of Sales/ Business Development Manager job, paying a package up to £60,000 has become available. The role will oversee two properties, Hunton Park Hotel (Watford) and Denham Grove Hotel (Denham) which are both under the same ownership. The role is focussed on lead generation/ new business for the corporate market, particularly events. You will work alongside a Sales Office team, ensuring a consistent pipeline of corporate business coming in to the Hotel.
- Package of up to £60,000 - negotiated on experience.

Role Overview: This position is specifically focussed on the proactive business development for the Hotels. You will be required to seek and achieve new business sales through lead generation, focussing on corporate business. The use of CRM's will be part of your day to day to maintain and track the progress of targeted clients. You will work alongside the Head of Sales at Countrywide Hotels who will provide targets for activity, while offering advice and support. You will proactively research and target new clients. The methods used to generate new business will include going out to meet prospective clients face to face, in addition to inviting prospective clients and providing show-arounds of the hotel. While a lot of your work will be conducted during the traditional office hours, it is important you have some flexibility to adapt your working hours as there are likely to be events or meetings that fall on the evenings or weekends at points.
Ideal Experience: Experience in a proactive sales/ business development role within Hotels/Events is non-negotiable. Due to the nature of the role, access to your own vehicle is highly preferred.
