Responsibilities of Commis Chef

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of fresh food items
  • Support senior chefs with daily food production
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety (HACCP compliance)
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations
  • Assist with stock rotation and correct storage procedures

About you

  • Previous kitchen experience in B & I preferred
  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge (Level 2 Food Safety desirable)
