Our client are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team in providing assistance and guidance to young adults facing challenges in their day-to-day lives. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of the unique needs of young people and is passionate about making a positive impact on their well-being. As a Support Worker, you will provide tailored support, ensuring the emotional, social, and practical needs of young adults are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Individual Support: Work with young adults to develop personalised support plans that address their specific needs, goals, and aspirations.
- Emotional Support: Offer guidance and encouragement, helping young adults navigate life challenges, build confidence, and develop coping strategies.
- Facilitate Independence: Support young adults in gaining independence in various areas, including life skills, education, employment, and community engagement.
- Mentorship and Advocacy: Act as a mentor and advocate, ensuring young adults have access to appropriate resources and services, including healthcare, housing, and social support.
