My client is looking for 2 Yard Operative/ Delivery Driver in Newchapel. These will initially be a 3 month contract with the possibility of permanent work for the right candidates. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday.
As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in a yard or outdoor storage area. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of the yard and ensuring that materials and equipment are organised and maintained efficiently.
Duties:
- Organising and maintaining the yard area
- Loading and unloading materials or equipment
- Assisting with inventory management
- Operating machinery or vehicles within the yard
- Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the yard environment
Skills:
- Ability to drive vehicles within the yard
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous
- Knowledge of delivery driver responsibilities
- Full clean driving licence with no more than 6 points, no CD, DD, or IN for insurance purposes
