About the role - We’re currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives with PPT experience for a leading name in the supply chain industry, based at a modern and well-equipped distribution centre in Haydock. You will play a key role in the order fulfilment process, working across ambient, chilled, and freezer zones to ensure the safe and efficient selection, preparation, and dispatch of customer orders. All candidates must successfully complete a DBS check and drug & alcohol screening before starting.

Key Responsibilities -
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using hand scanners
- Operate warehouse equipment including PPTs, manual pallet trucks, and trolleys
- Work across ambient, chilled, and freezer environments (PPE and additional breaks provided)
- Load and prepare products for dispatch
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and hygiene in your work area
- Work as part of a close-knit team to meet daily performance targets
- Ensure clear communication and cooperation with colleagues and supervisors
What We’re Looking For -
- Previous warehouse experience, preferably in a distribution environment
- Valid PPT licence or demonstrable experience using a Power Pallet Truck
- Comfortable working in chilled and freezer areas (full PPE supplied)
- A proactive, “can do” attitude and strong team ethic
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety standards and procedures
- Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Must be able to pass drug & alcohol tests and a DBS check
