We are hiring for Warehouse Operatives to undertake general warehouse duties in Northampton. This is a friendly warehouse team that handles a high volume of customer orders, and you will be an important part of this team helping to ensure that orders are completed on time.
Duties of a Warehouse Operative:
- Handling and lifting heavy boxes and bulky items.
- Carrying out a significant amount of manual handling.
- Stacking and wrapping pallets.
- Sorting parcels and organising items efficiently.
- Unloading trailers and ensuring items are stored correctly.
- Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Cleaning and tidying the workspace as required to maintain a safe environment.
Skills and Experience of a Warehouse Operative:
- No prior experience is required, but it would be beneficial.
- You should have a good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is advantageous.
