Warehouse Operative / Van Driver - Hybrid role
You will be performing warehouse duties - loading and unloading, pick and pack, wrapping pallets. In addition, you will drive the van and go out in 2 man teams (with a driver's mate) when required to perform deliveries to homes and businesses as business needs dictate.
- When working in the warehouse, it's an 06:00 - 15:00 shift
- Delivery driver hours can be longer 06:00 - 18:00 approx
- The rota does include either a Saturday or Sunday 06:00 - 12:00 (job and finish though)
Warehouse duties:
- Scanning and pulling stock to the loading area
- Warehouse housekeeping, keeping clean and tidy
- Pump truck
Driving Duties:
- Daily checks on the van to make sure roadworthy
- Safe delivery to premises
- Paperwork or mobile device for delivery recording
- Home and business deliveries
- Delivery to room of choice
- Some basic assembly (e.g. sofa, beds on occasion)
