My client is a leading railway systems and infrastructure contractor, who provide fully integrated solutions to both the heavy and light rail infrastructure sectors. The purpose of the role is to assist the Bid Manager in the work-winning process of the business by ensuring the delivery of professional quality bids to maximise the number of opportunities within the chosen market sector.
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the development and production of tenders to ensure optimum maximisation of the likelihood of securing the works within a commercial framework.
- Assist with the monitoring and management of a programme for the tender activity.
- Assist in allocating all deliverables to named individuals and monitor/manage to ensure tender programme is maintained.
- Assist the Bid Manager in updates/status reports/other information as required to inform VR corporate requirements during the tender preparation.
- Assist with the production of all elements of the tender.
- Help to coordinate the preparation of tender submission documentation, ensuring compliance with client and VR requirements.
- Work closely with the Bid Manager to ensure on time submission of all tenders.
