We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler / Machine Operator on behalf of a client in Much Wenlock. The ideal candidate will operate a telehandler to move, lift, and place materials on construction sites or other designated areas. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment.
Duties:
- Operate the telehandler to transport materials and equipment as required on-site.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the telehandler to ensure it is in safe working order.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries and other vehicles.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Feed materials into machines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are stored properly.
Suitable candidates must have previous experience operating a telehandler and with machine operating. Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 7am-4pm. Temp to perm.
