We are working with a leading organisation seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to take ownership of their telecoms and contact centre platforms. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, management, and support of cloud-based telecommunication environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support cloud-based telecoms platforms, including account setup, call flow management, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and implement contact centre solutions, ensuring seamless customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with platform providers to maintain relationships and review licensing.
  • Plan for system expansions and ensure infrastructure scalability.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity measures.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and IT policies.

About You

  • Experience in managing cloud-based contact centre environments (Microsoft Teams and Content Guru).
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications technologies (SIP, ISDN) and network hardware.
  • Familiarity with MS Active Directory, Windows Server, and Hyper-V (desirable).
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team.
  • A full UK driving licence is required as travel to regional offices may be necessary.
