Our Client is an established and successful Grower and Distributor of Fresh Produce, supplying to an exciting customer base across the retail sector. We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join the technical team as Technical Assistant.

Reporting to and working alongside the Technical Director, the position of Technical Assistant offers the opportunity to assist with the implementation of company Food Safety, Quality Management and Supplier Approval systems, Health & Safety policies, internal Audits to BRC standard, Product Specifications and liaising with colleagues in preparation for external Audits.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading supplier of Fresh produce products, working across all departments and gaining exposure to both suppliers and customers.

We require:

  • Experience gained in a Technical Assistant / Administration position, with the ability to assist with H&S, QMS, Auditing, BRC, HACCP, Food Safety
  • Fresh Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure
  • Confident with quality / technical systems & procedures, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Attractive Salary; dependent on experience; £32k

Location; Kent

Monday to Friday working week
