BDS have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to work with one of the country’s leading providers in Retirement Living. The fantastic scheme hosts a lounge, hair salon, a guest room for visiting friends and family, and communal gardens for exercising and gardening. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Hours: Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Duties:
- Daily welfare checks to residents.
- Facilitate property lettings and tenant communication for smooth onboarding.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks of the building.
- Coordinate with external agencies and providers when necessary and signpost information.
- Report communal area repairs and maintain strong partnerships with external support agencies.
Criteria:
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a sheltered or supported housing setting.
- Strong understanding of tenant and housing management.
- Confident in conducting health and safety checks within residential environments.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Experienced in signposting.
