Successful FMCG/Retail business require a Supply Chain Coordinator. Applicants need experience in a supply chain, inventory, purchasing or forecasting related role, ideally within a product-led FMCG, manufacturing or retail business. An exciting end-to-end supply chain role, the Supply Chain Coordinator will optimise stock and inventory levels while fostering strong relationships with UK and international suppliers.
Specific duties of the Supply Chain Coordinator include:
- Advise customers on product availability and stock/inventory issues
- Optimisation of inventory and stock holdings using data analysis skills across MS Excel and supply chain planning/forecasting software
- Logistics coordination of product from overseas factory into UK warehouses
- Supplier management - drive suppliers to hit OTD/OTIF metric in order to meet customer forecasts
- Support Supply Chain leadership in regards to process improvement activities within the function
Supply Chain Coordinator applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience within a supply chain, inventory, planning, forecasting, purchasing, logistics, merchandising or demand planning role
- Experience within an FMCG, manufacturing, or retail environment
