Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in metal fabrication and assembly, with hands-on experience in working with sheet metal, ideally within the aerospace setting. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using various hand tools and equipment to produce high-quality metal products. Responsibilities * Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and technical drawings. * Utilise sheet metal techniques to cut, grind, weld, and shape materials as required. * Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively to ensure precision in work output. * Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. * Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Experience * Proven experience in metalworking * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery relevant to metal fabrication. * Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 07:00 – 15:30 Monday – Thursday, 12:00 Friday.
