Senior Social Worker - Children in Need/Child Protection Team

We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Children in Need/Child Protection Team within Islington. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels. London Borough of Islington pay close attention to looking after their Social Workers and strive to ensure they feel supported and welcomed in their roles. The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes: Experience of assessment, CIN, CP and court work Undertaking initial and core assessments Carrying a caseload of children in need, and child protection cases and implementing multi agency plans to address needs and risk and take the lead professional role where appropriate Building effective and creative relationships with key professionals in other agencies. To ideal candidate will have: Social Work England registration Eligibility to work in the UK Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA) Working with Ackerman Pierce you will be guaranteed weekly payment and access to continued profession development, including a dedicated consultant to support you through the interview and on boarding process.
