We are currently working with a leading engineering business with a strong international presence delivering flagship projects internationally who require a senior EHS manager to join their team on a very notable pharma scheme in north London on a contract basis Acting as the most EHS on site, you be responsible for managing a team of 5-6 across the sizeable campus. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Health & Safety Management System in line with company standards and legal requirements. * Provide expert advice and guidance on all health, safety, and environmental matters to the project team and supply chain. * Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations and other relevant legislation. * Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement effective control measures. * Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of preventative actions. * Develop and deliver health and safety training and inductions. * Liaise effectively with the client, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. * Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across the project. * Monitor and report on health and safety performance against agreed targets. The initial contract will run for circa 6-8 months with sign off to pay a very attractive day rate. The company in question have a very busy order book and there will potentially be the opportunity to move onto a new scheme with contract extensions offered. Experience working with and managing construction or MEP stakeholders is essential
