TRIbuild Solutions are working in partnership with a leading utilities contractor delivering high-profile clean and wastewater projects across London and the South East. We are recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join the team, supporting the delivery of key civils-based utility projects in Slough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Carry out setting out and surveying using Leica equipment (GS18/TS16).
- Coordinate temporary works, including preparation of design briefs and supervising installations.
- Prepare and review essential site documentation including RAMS, ITPs, Construction Phase Plans, and Emergency Response Plans.
- Liaise closely with designers, subcontractors, and clients to support project progression.
- Lead service avoidance strategies, including CAT & Genny scanning and trial hole investigations.
- Supervise lifting operations, manage plant and material requisitions, and control site logistics.
- Provide technical engineering support across a range of clean and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pumping stations, trunk mains, and emergency repairs.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- SMSTS, First Aid at Work, NRSWA Supervisor.
- EUSR Water Hygiene.
- Temporary Works Supervisor and/or Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
- CAT 1 & 2 and AP Lifting Operations.
- Strong communication skills with experience managing subcontractors and suppliers.
- Previous experience on UK water framework projects is desirable.
