We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technician to join our supportive and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food education to contribute to the success of our Design and Technology Faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of practical food lessons by preparing ingredients and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas in line with health and safety regulations.
- Assist teaching staff in managing the classroom during practical sessions.
- Monitor and order stock as needed.
- Support students in developing practical food skills.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working in a school or food preparation environment.
- Be well-organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Be enthusiastic about supporting young people in their learning.
- Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable, but training can be provided).
