School Cleaner

Cleaner Location: Northampton Salary: Competitive Contract type: Full time, part time Simply Education has a position for a Cleaner to join one of our schools. We are looking for someone who will take pride in the high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school ensuring a safe and pleasant environment. Your Role: leaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and other areas as directed. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces. Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely. Replenishing hygiene supplies such as soap and paper towels. Ensuring all cleaning materials are used and stored safely and appropriately. Reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues to the Site Manager or relevant staff. Adhering to all school and health & safety policies.We are looking for: Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential – training can be provided). A positive attitude and strong work ethic. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. An understanding of COSHH and safe use of cleaning products (training available). Requirements: This role is subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
