Safeguarding Officer

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding Officer to work two days per week, ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Location: Fareham, Hampshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Part-Time (2 days per week) Start Date: Immediate Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the primary contact for safeguarding concerns. * Maintain accurate records of safeguarding issues. * Liaise with external agencies as needed. * Provide safeguarding training to staff. * Assist in developing safeguarding policies. Essential Criteria: * Experience in a safeguarding role within education. * Knowledge of safeguarding legislation. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Enhanced DBS clearance. * Legal right to work in the UK. Desirable Criteria: * Qualifications in safeguarding or child protection. * Experience delivering training sessions.
