Registered Manager – Complex Needs Location: Burton Upon Trent Salary: £42,000 + Bonus Brand new service – opening August 2025 An established care provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a small Complex Needs/Learning Disabilities service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the service and ensure the highest standards of care. The successful candidate will be supported by a Deputy Manager and a Regional Management team. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership to the care team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs and preferences. Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance, to maintain the highest standards of safety and care. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring each resident receives compassionate and high-quality care. Conduct regular care needs assessments and develop comprehensive care plans alongside multidisciplinary teams. Monitor care quality through audits, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, driving continuous improvement in service delivery. Stay up to date with developments in mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations, ensuring full compliance with industry standards. Requirements: NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management. Proven experience in a managerial role within a complex needs care setting, with a deep understanding of Learning Disabilities. Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a diverse team of professionals. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices, including CQC standards and the Mental Health Act. A compassionate, person-centred approach with a commitment to promoting dignity, rights, and well-being. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively. IT proficiency, including experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
