We are looking for a Reception Supervisor to join a fantastic Front of House team at an award-winning hotel. The 500-acre estate, set on a beautiful hillside just above Broadway, is the perfect place for personal and professional development.

The Reception Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's reception. This includes meeting and greeting guests to ensure they have a high-quality and memorable experience with our reception team from start to finish. You will also oversee the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring that the 'behind-the-scenes' functions are impeccably organized to support our award-winning hotel.

This role is based on a 40-hour per week contract, consisting of 8-hour shifts plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. You will typically work five days a week, which will usually include weekends.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a luxury hotel setting, specifically in a reception or reservations role
  • Strong leadership skills to command respect and provide supportive and constructive supervision to the team
  • A hands-on approach with a commitment to completing tasks to a high standard
  • Organizational skills and efficiency to manage the workload effectively
  • A team-oriented attitude, supporting colleagues to achieve great results

£13.50 per hour (approximately £28,080 per year), plus a service charge that ranges from £2,000 to £2,500 per year, bringing the total package to around £30,500 annually. Due to the rural location, you will need to drive.
