Join a leading food and drink manufacturer as a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician in a Monday-Friday, days-based role. You'll play a vital part in our client's QA & Technical Team, ensuring the technical integrity and compliance of finished goods with company, legal, and third-party standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent Food Science graduates eager to launch their quality and food safety careers, as well as experienced QA/QC professionals from the food and beverage industry seeking career progression.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing Goods Inwards documentation and conducting sampling and testing of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
- Verifying appropriate checks are completed before the release of materials and products.
- Managing external sample submissions, including documentation and SAP data entry.
- Daily monitoring and documented checks of product safety, legality, integrity, and quality.
- Initiating and documenting actions for any non-compliance affecting product standards.
- Identifying, reporting, and managing non-conforming products, ensuring correct handling and disposal.
- Contributing to the development of preventative procedures for recurring non-conformances.
- Reporting any deviations from company practices and procedures (including security and food fraud) to the QMS team.
- Monitoring, recording, and maintaining high hygiene standards (GMPs) across all production areas and the site.
- Assisting the QA team with audit preparation and execution.
