Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals Identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives across the procurement function Analyse MRP data to inform purchasing decisions Manage the end-to-end purchasing cycle, from requisition to delivery Personally review and approve critical purchase orders Lead key vendor negotiations and develop strong supplier relationships Collaborate with production to prevent material shortages and resolve supply chain disruptions Oversee inventory management and implement best practices Supervise and mentor a small team, creating a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence What We're Looking For At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement leadership role Demonstrable success in delivering cost savings and optimising procurement processes Strong experience with MRP systems Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation Desirable: EPICOR experience Knowledge of quality management systems in regulated environments Why Join?
