Client Details: A great opportunity for a Product Developer to join a growing online retailer & B2B business in the Leeds area. They provide high quality apparel to their customers. Due to growth they are seeking another Product Developer to join the business.

Description:

  • Liaising with UK based and offshore suppliers-factories.
  • Advising on fit, costings, size charts, quality control, fabrics, and grading.
  • Organising red and gold seals from initial design stage of samples.
  • Quality control of embroidery of logos as well as colour matching and dye to match threads.
  • Attending weekly meetings with other departments including, merchandisers, buyers, school relation team and customer services.
  • Completing weekly fit sessions of new products and correct QA forms advising on improvements.
  • Forming close relationships with suppliers with factory visits, online and in person meetings.
  • Producing technical flats (CADs) on Adobe Illustrator.
  • Producing size guides to add to the website, as well as quality checking bulk orders and organising samples for bulk production.

Profile:

  • In-depth knowledge of apparel garment construction and the development process.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capacity to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.
  • Team Player.
  • Highly organised, methodical and process-driven.
  • Passion for delivering consistently high standards in all projects executed.
  • Must have experience dealing with offshore suppliers/manufacturers and a solid understanding of a critical path.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
