We are looking to recruit and work with an experienced teacher to work on a supply basis to provide high quality teaching across primary schools in South Northants, focused specifically in the Daventry. This role is a daily supply role so days can be flexible and both part time and full time opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow and deliver pre-planned lesson plans and adapt teaching to meet the needs of individuals within the class
  • Manage classroom behaviour using a range of techniques
  • Provide a safe, positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Work alongside other staff to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Follow school policies including safeguarding
  • Mark work and provide feedback during the lesson where needed

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel across Wellingborough, Kettering, and Corby.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
