Precision Universal Grinder

Permanent Precision Universal Grinder required for our client who is a thread gauge manufacturer within the oil and gas industry located in Coleshill, Birmingham. The successful candidate will have experience with cylindrical grinding, surface grinding and end threading. Essential Skills: * Precision grinding * Machining to tight tolerances (+/- .0002) * All aspects of manual universal grinding * Producing high quality one-off products * Ability to self-inspect and measure * Understanding of basic engineering principles, procedures, and standards Desirable Skills: * Experience with Jones, Shipman and Myfords lathes. Working Hours: * Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday's 7.30am – 12.30pm (39 hours per week) Additional information: * Salary: £14.00ph – £15.04ph depending on experience * Overtime Available * 32 Days Holiday Per Year * Pension
