A leading Abertillery pharmacy is now looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team. The pharmacy is in a fantastic location to serve the community – right by local amenities, public transport links, primary care services, and parking spots. The team supports a wide patient base with a diverse range of pharmacy needs, providing accessible services both privately and in conjunction with NHS Wales in a modern and spacious environment.

As a Pharmacist, you’ll be providing patients with their new and repeat prescriptions and emergency medicines, advise patients on their medication and on minor health concerns, and provide additional services such as flu vaccines and healthy lifestyle support in line with community needs. The team has a great reputation locally for their highly considerate and informative approach and all together, they are the first choice for pharmacy care. This is a permanent Pharmacist position. There are full-time and part-time opportunities available – please enquire to discuss your availability.

Person specification:

  • (Essential) MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
  • (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
  • (Desirable) Independent Prescriber status
