Are you an experienced Personal Injury (PI) Claims Adjuster looking to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking team? We're working with a well-established and highly respected insurance provider. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a PI Claims Adjuster to join their collaborative and dynamic claims department.
About the Role:
As a Personal Injury Claims Adjuster you'll be managing your own portfolio of personal injury motor claims, making decisions on liability, indemnity, and quantum, and playing a key role in the success of a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate, investigate and negotiate third-party personal injury claims
- Make accurate and timely decisions on liability and indemnity
- Identify potentially fraudulent claims and escalate where necessary
- Manage your own caseload effectively, prioritising tasks and meeting monthly targets
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including solicitors and rehabilitation providers
- Maintain a customer-focused approach with excellent call handling and communication
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in handling personal injury claims (Insurer or Legal background)
- Strong understanding of MOJ/OIC processes, pre-action protocol and litigation
- Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Commercially astute with an eye for balancing outcomes and business interest
- Great communicator, both written and verbal, with a positive and proactive attitude
