PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Permanent P6 Planner. This will be located in their Northern office just outside of Leeds and they will be looking for someone that has come from a Site background and has worked up to an Agent level role, then into Planning. MUST HAVE PRIMAVERA/P6 EXPERIENCE.
Key Responsibilities for P6 Planner:
- You will be managing a portfolio of new and existing project programmes for a number of different frameworks between design and delivery stages.
- You will need to create and manage any new project programmes that are from tender drawings, then you will need to challenge project team for proposed outputs and sequences and must show a high level of accuracy whilst doing this.
- Add value to project delivery by proactively identifying and managing risk.
- Provide internal cyclic reporting data to inform management review.
- Support the development of the project planning function and provide guidance to less experienced members of the team when needed.
- Production of Hour by Hour programmes in line with their process for works being undertaken in disruptive possessions.
- You will be reporting to the Planning Manager and supporting with any reports.
- Produce and maintain work scope trackers.
Skills & Experience needed:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Experience in an Engineer/Agent role, then into a Planning role.
- Experience with Primavera P6 with a minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Project Planning within the Rail industry.
- Schedule Management & Reporting experience.
- Knowledge of Change Control, Baseline Management, Risk Management and Cost Control.
- Experience in delivering civil engineering projects, including structures and station works.
- Full UK Driving license with the ability to travel to site offices.
- Must hold PTS.
