Role: Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician

Location: Shrewsbury and surrounding areas (Shrewsbury/Oswestry/Telford)

Hours: Full time

Salary: £27k

I'm looking for an OH Technician to join my client, covering Shrewsbury and surrounding areas. You'll be responsible for driving a mobile screening unit.

Benefits:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, independence, and making a difference in people’s health and wellbeing. You'll be primarily responsible for Shrewsbury and surrounding areas, but may be required to travel further afield when required in line with business needs.

Role:

  • Conduct health surveillance screening, including audiometry, spirometry, blood pressure, height/weight/basic health checks, urinalysis
  • Support occasional health promotion and wellbeing activities
  • Collaborate with the wider clinical team and contribute to a high-quality service
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, calibrated and ready for use
  • Record medical information accurately
  • You will cover the Shrewsbury/Oswestry/Telford area (ideally up to 1.5 hours max), however on occasion may be required to travel further afield in line with business requirements

Requirements:

  • Full clean UK Driving licence
  • Based in Shrewsbury/Oswestry/Telford, with a secure location to park the vehicle
  • Willingness to travel further afield when required and happy to complete overnight stays when required
  • Background experience: OH Technician, Ambulance, Paramedic, Sports Science degree with proven hands on experience
  • Strong time management, communication and organisation
