A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Occupational Health Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the chance to lead and shape Occupational Health services across a dynamic and diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the Occupational Health team to ensure effective service delivery
- Overseeing clinical case management, including complex referrals and return-to-work assessments
- Managing health surveillance activities such as audiometry and spirometry
- Supporting the development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives
- Delivering nurse-led clinics and overseeing pre-placement health assessments
- Ensuring all service provision aligns with current legislation, clinical standards, and best practice
- Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders
Essential Criteria:
- NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience
- Occupational Health qualification (Diploma/Degree level)
- Proven experience in a managerial or senior clinical Occupational Health role
- Skilled in clinical decision-making and managing complex cases
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
- Experience in health promotion and wellbeing campaigns
- Background in public sector or safety-critical environments
- Experience leading on service development and improvement initiatives
