Our client is currently looking for a Metal Polisher to strengthen the existing team. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Polishing finished components to a range of standards including standard eighty-grit belt finish to sateen, super sateen and mirror.
  • Use polishing equipment to polish radius of components.
  • Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or Faro.
  • Inspection of goods in, goods out, sub contract work and all purchased parts.
  • In process and finished goods inspection.
  • Process auditing.
  • Signing first and last inspection reports.
  • Reporting of non-conforming parts.
  • Entering technical data on to computer spreadsheet package.

Person Specification: Proven experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings. Familiarity with tooling, hand tools, and equipment used in polishing and fabrication processes.

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:45. This is a permanent job for the right person.
